Residential, Comporta area

The studio was tasked with creating a Comporta dream house where traditional Portuguese architecture meets a Californian soul.

Designed with light, art and simplicity in mind, this project blends the laid-back coastal lifestyle with refined design details to create a minimalist yet captivating aesthetic.

We embraced ceramics, natural materials, and high-performance fabrics throughout, crafting a welcoming home that is both effortlessly stylish and perfectly suited for sharing with friends and family.

Modern London Mews House

Ambiantia reconfigured and refurbished this modern South London mews house, providing comprehensive project management that included relocating the kitchen between floors and adding a bathroom. All fixtures and furniture were meticulously sourced or custom-designed.

The studio crafted a contemporary design that harmonises with both the building and the client’s aesthetic. As with all of Ambiantia’s work, the elements are seamlessly integrated and envisioned to remain relevant and fresh over time.

Espumanteria, Comporta

Our meticulous design approach maximised the utilisation of space, enhancing both the visual appeal and the practical operation of the business. This thoughtful design not only boosts sales but also ensures a smooth workflow.

Since its opening, the enterprise has garnered immense popularity among international clientele and has become a design landmark in the Comporta area.

Appointed by the owners, Ambiantia provided comprehensive project management, product sourcing, and bespoke design to refurbish this central Comporta village house. The generous outdoor space has been thoughtfully sub-divided to enhance flexible outdoor living and entertaining.

The interior design boasts excellent guest capacity, with communal areas promoting easy, free-flowing use throughout the year.

The house is now a cherished retreat for the family and is also available for short-term rentals, offering a luxurious experience for all visitors.
